Braided Lattice Bun

Hi friends,

     Today I fixed my hair in a style similar to my Thanksgiving Day 2016 hairstyle, but with a few more accent braids than my original version.  First I sectioned off the lower half of my hair, and put the top half into a high bun.  Then I made accent braids with my loose hair, and woven them under and over each other like lattice.  I wrapped the ends of my braids around my bun, and pinned them in place with bobby pins.  I love this hairstyle, even if it takes some extra time and attention to detail.  Thank you for coming to see!

Marie Antoinette Bun

Hello friends,

     This updo reminded me of a French hairstyle from the 1700s, with big waves and a small loose section of hair curled to one side.  And with a variety of hair clips to help hold my hair in place, this look has lasted all day long!

Golden Bows Curly Bun

     I hope you are having a great weekend.  The sun was shining beautifully this morning when I took hair pictures outside.  I love my golden bow bobby pins, they are the perfect finished touch to this curly bun updo.  My hair is held in place mostly with bobby pins and hairpins, like I demonstrate in my video.  Thank you for visiting my blog!
